Madeline Levin, Clinical Resident
Madeline is a senior graduate student at Northwestern University majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduate intern under the clinical supervision of Sowania Germain, LMHC-D, PMH-C.
Madeline is a mental health counseling student committed to providing a compassionate and supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and personal growth. She integrates person-centered care with psychodynamic, attachment, and trauma-informed approaches, emphasizing authenticity, connection, and empowerment.
With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Madeline helps clients process and heal from past experiences, understanding how trauma influences thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience, honoring each individual’s story with empathy and respect.
Recognizing the deep connection between mind and body, Madeline incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and creative expression to support holistic healing. Above all, she strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful change.In her free time, Madeline enjoys spending time with friends and family, and exploring the outdoors with her rescue dog, Toast. A farm girl at heart, she is a lifelong equestrian and horse lover.
Rachel Keenan, Clinical Resident
Rachel is a senior graduate student at Northwestern University, pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently a graduate intern under the clinical supervision of Sowania Germain, LMHC-D, PMH-C.
As a dedicated mental health counseling graduate student, Rachel is committed to supporting clients in their journey toward personal growth and well-being. She strives to create a safe, accepting, and understanding environment where individuals feel heard and empowered.
With a collaborative approach, Rachel helps clients navigate life transitions, overcome challenges, and develop effective coping strategies in a compassionate and nonjudgmental space. She integrates psychodynamic, person-centered, and strength-based techniques to foster self-exploration, emotional growth, and the achievement of personal goals.In her personal time, Rachel loves to spend time reading, traveling, trying new restaurants with friends and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Boomer.
